Shipment very well secured (quite thick and hard foamed polystyrene with tight cutouts for the set, paper) and the whole package wrapped in bubble wrap. The set itself, without any damage, scratches or discoloration, is enough to wash with warm water and something to wash because it smells of foam after such a trip. Even though it’s porcelain, it’s solid, you don’t have to be very delicate, you can hold it just like a regular glass. After a few uses (boiling water, washing up with dishwashing liquid, tea) I do not see any damage, discoloration inside or discoloration of the decoration. So I am very pleased and recommend.
